HARN is committed to operating and achieving sustainable business growth across all four dimensions: economic, environmental, social, and governance. This commitment supports the Company’s vision: “To become a leader in providing comprehensive sustainable engineering solutions that fulfill customers’ needs in enhancing quality of life, society, and the environment.” This vision is integrated into every step of the Company’s business operation under the principles of good corporate governance and business ethics, while taking into consideration impacts on stakeholders as well as the value chain. Accordingly, HARN has established its Sustainable Development Policy based on two key strategic pillars: Business (B) and Sustainability (S), or “B+S,” to drive sustainability performance across all dimensions in alignment with its long-term operational goals. The Company also places importance on preparedness for potential future crises, with a strong focus on employee development and skill enhancement, alongside the adoption of technology to improve work processes and strengthen the Company’s competitiveness for sustainable growth.
HARN has established a sustainability management structure through its Sustainability Working Committee, chaired by the Chief Executive Officer, with directors serving as advisors to the committee. The Sustainability Working Committee is responsible for setting environmental management targets, implementing action plans, monitoring progress, and reporting directly to the Committee Chairman and the committee advisors.
The Board of Directors is responsible for reviewing and approving the Sustainable Development Policy to support the Company’s vision and strategy, and to ensure alignment with the Company’s strategic plans. The policy is reviewed annually.
